We are now taking bookings for our Harley Street clinic. You can use our online booking system or phone 0800 030 6617 to talk to an administrator.

Our other clinics around the country are open, so please contact us to find out when the earliest appointment at your preferred clinic will be.

During appointments, our clinicians and audiologists are working in a safe manner to reduce infection and help you recover from your tinnitus. We clean surfaces between patient appointments in line with Government guidance and that issued by the British Society of Audiology.

We will require you to answer a few questions before you come into clinic to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19 infection.

Remember, if you're unable to attend a clinic we run a full telecare service with remote assessments and fittings using video through our e‑consult service.

New year - New hearing

The new year is a time for fresh starts, resolutions and looking ahead to the future. This new year was particularly special as it marked the beginning of a new decade and brought with it the opportunity to reflect on how far we have come.

For The Tinnitus Clinic, 2020 represents the introduction of the new Signia Xperience system into our specialised service offering. This will provide suitable patients with an unparalleled platform that can be used to treat tinnitus, sound sensitivity disorders and challenging hearing loss.

We would like to remind our readers that not all hearing aids are the same. Some of them can miss important sounds by only focusing on what is directly in front of you or instead on your general surroundings. Signia Xperience is the first hearing aid platform that can do both at the same time.

Tinnitus sufferers often find it difficult to follow a conversation while walking, and hearing can be nearly impossible when moving from relatively quiet surroundings to more challenging environments such as a busy shopping centre or room full of people.

The Xperience platform uniquely utilises acoustic motion sensor technology, in order to provide patients with improved speech clarity in challenging listening environments compared to other modern systems.

Other features include the ability to directly stream voice and media from smartphones, along with a telecare option to enable remote fine tuning.

Enhancing patient care, the new combination sound therapy and hearing device system will be used alongside Tinnitus Desensitisation Therapy (TDT). One of our most popular treatments, TDT helps sufferers take control of the impact that tinnitus is having on their lives and in our most recent survey 90% of patients reported improved symptoms within seven months.

Signia Xperience systems will be available post assessment at The Tinnitus Clinic and will be considered for patients with bothersome tinnitus and hyperacusis, along with speech-in-noise discrimination difficulties.
