Top BHSAA’s Prize won by Mark Williams

  June 27, 2016

The winner of this year’s BHSAA People writing competition is The Tinnitus Clinic’s chief audiologist, Mr. Mark Williams.

Mr. Williams was awarded the prize for his research on recreational noise levels in London in connection with Noise Action Week and aimed to raise awareness of noise exposure.

The annual writing competition was introduced to encourage practitioners to conduct research of their own and to publish their results.

In his response to winning the competition Mr. Williams said:

“I am delighted that this survey paper was considered, by BSHAA, to be worthy of such praise. I look forward to continuing to submit articles for societal review in the future."
Mr. Williams was presented with a cheque, a year’s free BSHAA membership and a certificate, by BHSAA’s People editor, Mr. Trevor Andrews. For further details on Mr. Williams research on recreational noise in the city, please follow the link below.
