Dear Reader,
Many people with tinnitus find sleeping a challenge and we were delighted to be able to help Mary Curtin who found getting a good night’s sleep was almost impossible due to her tinnitus. Find out how our London clinic successfully treated her with Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation.
Following development of a more user friendly approach to delivery for Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation treatment, we’re pleased to be able to offer the treatment in an iPod based device called Desyncra™ for Tinnitus.
Together with the new Levo® Therapy System for night-time treatment of atonal and mixed tinnitus, and our Tinnitus Desensitisation Therapy™ for those with hearing loss, we’re now able to tackle most tinnitus conditions.
It has always been the aim of the company to make it as easy as possible for people across the UK to access the best tinnitus treatments on the market, so we have opened a new clinic in Leeds which is within easy reach for people in Yorkshire and indeed, the NE of England.
We are still hearing from many of our patients that they are being told by their GPs that nothing can be done about their tinnitus. We’d like to know how widespread this problem is and we’d be grateful for less than a minute of your time to answer 4 simple questions. click here for our online poll.
As ever, our appointment lines are available for you on 0203 597 4988, or click here to let us know when an appointment would suit you.
Best wishes
Josephine Swinhoe

"It was like an alarm going off in my head"
Many people with tinnitus find sleeping a challenge and we were delighted to be able to help Mary Curtin who found getting a good night’s sleep was almost impossible due to her tinnitus. Her GP prescribed anti-depressants, a treatment approach she refused to take. Instead she chose to go to our London clinic who successfully treated her tinnitus and improved her sleep using Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation.

Treat your tinnitus while you sleep
The Tinnitus Clinic was very proud to be chosen as the UK partner to introduce the new Levo Therapy System to the UK in June this year. Patients say they really appreciate the convenience of treating their tinnitus whilst they sleep. For our expert clinicians, it’s an additional treatment, which, because it can treat atonal (hissy or buzzy!) tinnitus, is a very important addition to our options.

New tinnitus clinic opens in Leeds
Mike Wells is one of our expert team who already provides excellent treatment to patients in Edinburgh and Manchester. Mike’s new clinic is in one of Leeds famous heritage buildings, near the Leeds General Infirmary and only 10 minutes’ walk from the main railway station.
For this clinic we have introduced the Starkey booth where patients may be asked to sit while they have measurements taken. We’re sure that our patients will appreciate this and the large screen we’ve installed to make Mike’s job easier when explaining the way the treatments work.
To book an appointment at our Leeds Clinic, call The Tinnitus Clinic on 0203 597 4988 or click here for the online booking form.

How many of you were told “you would just have to live with it”?
So many of our patients with tinnitus tell us that their GPs have said “you will just have to live with it”. If this happened to you, it may have made you more anxious which in turn can worsen the symptoms. We want to support GPs to improve their understanding of tinnitus, but first we would like to know from you how big a problem it is.
We would be grateful for less than a minute of your time to answer some simple questions.
